Lois Ann Disponett was appointed by Governor Ernie Fletcher on October 18, 2004.
She is the owner and principal broker of Lois Ann Disponett Real Estate Company in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She was first licensed as a sales associate on August 1, 1976 and obtained her broker’s license on January 3, 1978. She graduated from Anderson County High School and obtained her Associate Degree in Real Estate from the Lexington Technical Institute in 1977. Ms. Disponett obtained the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI). She is a member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg where she has been an active Sunday school teacher for over 27 years. She is an active member of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors® and has been involved in the development of both residential and commercial property in the Anderson County area for the last 24 years. She and her husband, Todd Hyatt, who is also a Realtor®, have one daughter, Ann Marie Hyatt.

James "Jim" H. Huff On November 15, 2007, former Governor Ernie Fletcher appointed James “Jim” H. Huff to a four-year term as Commissioner.
Many of you may remember that Mr. Huff previously served as a Commissioner from 1981 until 1997. He was then reappointed to fill an unexpired two-year term from 1998 to 1999. The Commission will obviously benefit from all of Mr. Huff’s prior experience as a Commissioner.
Mr. Huff began his real estate career as a sales associate in 1972. In 1975, Mr. Huff opened the first Huff Realty in Ft. Mitchell. Over the next thirty years, he grew the company into the second leading residential real estate brokerage in Greater Cincinnati. In March 2006, Mr. Huff solidified the Huff name as a leader in the local real estate market by brokering a deal that resulted in Huff Realty’s acquisition by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, the second largest home services provider in the United States. A few of Mr. Huff’s other accomplishments include: Director of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, REALTOR® of the year in 1981 by Kenton-Boone Board of REALTORS®, and Past President of the Kenton-Boone Board of REALTORS®. He also established the statewide errors and omissions insurance platform for real estate licensees, and he contributed to the establishment of property management regulations while serving as a Commissioner. Mr. Huff currently serves on the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport Board and is a past member of the Tri-County Economic Development Corporation. He also served as chairman, secretary and board member for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and has served on numerous other boards throughout Northern Kentucky. He is also a renowned personality in the tri-state area and avidly supports and contributes to its communities. Mr. Huff resides in Ft. Mitchell with his wife Bert. They have two adult children, Susan and Rodney, and they are the proud grandparents of Jessica, Jamie, Maria, Justin, Jacob and Emily. Welcome back, Commissioner Huff! |

Delbert "Ken" Perry
was appointed to the Commission on October 31, 2005 by Governor Ernie Fletcher.
Mr. Perry was originally licensed on August 14, 1989. He worked for several real estate companies before starting his own company, Ken Perry Real Estate, in 2002. There are fifteen licensees with his firm which is located in Cold Spring, Kentucky. Mr. Perry is married to Mary Beth Perry and he has a nineteen year old daughter named Jessica.

Ron Smith was appointed to the Commission by Governor Paul E. Patton on November 17, 1998.
He is the principal broker of Ron Smith Realty in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his sales associate license in 1978 and obtained his brokers license in 1995. Mr. Smith has been a member of the Louisville Board and Kentucky Association of Realtors since 1978. He is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and served as President of the Louisville branch from 1995 - 1998. He is also an active member of the West Chestnut Street Baptist Church. Mr. Smith resides in Louisville with his wife of 39 years, Shirlee. They have five children and nine grandchildren.

F.M. Sponcil was appointed on January 4, 2007 by Governor Ernie Fletcher.
Mr. Sponcil was born, raised and still resides in Montgomery County Kentucky. Upon graduating from Camargo High School, Mr. Sponcil worked for a local manufacturing company for over twenty years. He then began serving on the the County Board of Elections for fifteen years. Following that, Mr. Sponcil served as County Commissioner on the Montgomery County Fiscal Court. During his seventeen years of service to his county he dealt with county government issues of growth and roads. During his time as County Commissioner, he also served on the Local Health Board for twelve years. Currently, Mr. Sponcil and his wife Patsy are the owners and operators of Regan Ridge Farm in Montgomery County. They also manage a second farm and several investment properties. Mr. Sponcil has been a faithful and active member of the Camargo 1st Church for nearly forty years. He has served as Sunday School Superintendent and on the Board of Trustees. Mr. Sponcil and his wife Patsy have one son Tim and a daughter-in-law Susan. They are also the proud grandparents of Leslie who is eighteen and Jakob who is five. |
