The Commission is charged with the responsibility of protecting the public interest through regulation, examination and licensing of Kentucky real estate brokers and sales associates pursuant to Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 324. We hope that you find our website helpful and informative. The Commission is self-supporting and receives no general fund tax appropriation. It is funded through fees assessed for licensing its professionals.

- Notice: As of July 15, 2009, Kentucky will no longer offer Reciprocal Licensing to individuals licensed in different states.
- Kentucky will begin utilizing License Recognition to individuals who are actively licensed in good standing in another state as prescribed in House Bill 401.

On March 7, 2008 the following regulations were amended 201 KAR 11:210, 11:230, 11:240, & 11:450. The continuing education non-compliance penalty was increased from $200 to $500. There is also a new commercial brokerage law for out-of-state licensees. The link for these new statutes can be found below.
